Honeypot Cottage is an ideal base for walking, cycling, bird watching, sea and coarse fishing, golf and sailing. The surrounding area can be easily enjoyed by a number of footpaths, including those to the River Deben and Felixstowe Ferry.

Felixstowe is 5 miles from the cottage. Here you will find, beaches, shops and restaurants, as well as a leisure centre, cinema, the the theatre, the historic Landguard Fort and good bus and train links from Felixstowe.

Suffolk is home to many beautiful towns and villages, easily accessible from Honeypot Cottage by dual carriageway roads. These include Woodbridge, Bury St Edmunds, the wool towns of Lavenham, Kersey and Hadleigh and the famous Constable Country. Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Southwold, Orford, Minsmere and Dunwich are all places on the outstanding Suffolk coasts that are not to be missed.
